What is Scrip?

It's a way to raise money for Queen of Apostles Parish at no cost to you! Queen of Apostles buys gift certificates at a discount, and then sells them at face value, making a profit on each sale. Just make your normal household purchases at the stores you shop.

How can I help? 

You can help out every week by purchasing Scrip prior to your regular shopping. Buy Scrip for your weekly grocery, gas and video purchases, for birthday and holiday gifts, or for dinner at a restaurant. Using Scrip costs you absolutely nothing. These are funds you are already spending in the community, with or without Scrip. Using Scrip allows our local merchants to support Queen of Apostles Parish.

Where can I use Scrip? 

Purchase the gift certificates for the stores you shop usually, and spend them like cash! There are many retail stores, grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants that participate. Visit Great Lakes Scrip Center for a full list of retailers: www.glscrip.com

Can I use Scrip to pay my store charge?

Kohl’s and JC Penney accept Scrip as payment on your account. When your bill arrives, just order Scrip, go to the store in person, and apply the Scrip to your account.

Who benefits from Scrip? 

You and Queen of Apostles Parish benefit! Our parish receives one to ten percent of each Scrip you purchase. Queen of Apostles School and Christian Formation families that reach a certain level of profit will receive one to ten percent in the form of a rebate check. You can help Queen of Apostles Parish while making your normal purchases.

Ordering Scrip

Ordering Scrip is easy with three convenient methods!

  1. Submit your order by email - Simply select your quantities on the order form and click "Submit" when you are ready. All orders/payments received by Monday at 9 AM will be available that Thursday afternoon. Any orders/payments made on Monday morning must be delivered to the school office by 9 AM to ensure delivery by Thursday.
  2. Print the order form and return it using your school/Christian Formation envelope. Don't forget to include your payment.
  3. Place your order in the gathering space after the weekend Masses.


Choose the payment method that is best for you!

  1. Cash
  2. Personal check - made payable to Queen of Apostles Scrip Program
  3. Credit Card - after submitting your order, simply enter your order total and click the button to pay online using PayPal. (A small processing fee will be added to your order.)
